Corona Cup Ediția a treia, 2021

After a round’s pairing is published, the players will arrange their games by email
independently from the organisers. The games must be played between the exact
dates and the results reported to the organisers. If the game doesn’t happen on time,
both players lose by forfeit (including a loss of rating points).
In case a player wants to drop a round, it’s necessary to report this to the organisers

Fair play:
Fair play is a necessary part of the tournament. It’s not allowed to use any joseki
dictionaries, AI or outside help. An impartial team of arbiters will check played games
for signs of cheating using state-of-the-art anti-cheating tools. If the arbiters find it
clear that a player has cheated, all of the player‘s games will be forfeited and the
player disqualified immediately. These rules will be enforced very strictly.

All dan players are obliged to use webcameras during their games at least for offline
recording, and to have the records ready if asked by the organisers. One
recommended way is to have a video call with your opponent and save the video call
in a file with Skype. The video should be taken from the side, so that the computer’s
screen, player’s mouse hand, and the player’s face are all visible.
For other players this is optional, but highly recommended. If you are suspected of
using an AI, video records are the best way to show your innocence.

Please fill all the columns in the link below. The information has to be valid for the
whole tournament. Unfortunately the registration unfortunately can’t note ranks lower
than 20-kyu. Therefore, the weaker players should mention in the registration form, if
they want to play with lower rank.
